"Tapas Party"
"Tapa" in Spanish means lid, and tapas started out as a lid (i.e.a piece of
bread) to cover your glass of wine, to
keep the flies out. Then cheese on the bread, on the glass, then ham with the
cheese on the bread, on the glass, etc. Now
bars specialize in different tapas, and you go from bar to bar tasting different
tapas, meeting friends.
