Snickerdoodles
1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 Tablespoons sugar
Cream shortening, sugar and eggs. Sift dry ingredients and add
to creamed
mixture. Mix well. Combine cinnamon and sugar. Roll
dough into walnut sized balls, then
roll in sugar mixture. Place
on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 8-10 minutes at 400. These
cookies freeze great.
